Up to $54.9M to Boeing’s Phantom Works for JTRS Network Software Support

Boeing Co.’s Phantom Works in Huntington Beach, CA received a $33 million indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract for Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) enterprise network manager (JENM) software support. The support is for the Joint Program Executive Office (JPEO)-JTRS network enterprise domain. 

The JTRS program is a Defense Department-wide initiative to develop a family of software-programmable tactical radios that will provide US soldiers with voice, data and video communications with programmable interoperability.

This 2-year Boeing contract includes three 1-year options which, if exercised, would bring the potential value of this contract to $54.9 million… 

JTRS Increment 1 Network

Phantom Works will provide technical support, software maintenace/ upgrades, and enhancement to the JENM software.

The portfolio of JENM products currently includes the JTRS Wideband Networking Waveform (WNW) Network Manager and Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW) Network Manager.

Work will be performed in Huntington Beach, CA, and is expected to be completed April 15/12.

This contract was competitively procured via publication on the FedBizOpps and SPAWAR e-Commerce Central Web sites, with 3 offers received by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific in San Diego, CA (N66001-10-D-0069).
